Mike Love Drops new EP "Lost Highway"
WICHITA, KANSAS – On July 1, independent artist Mike Love released his brand-new EP, Lost Highway, for sale on all streaming services including iTunes and Apple Music.
Lost Highway, produced by Greg Hunt and Drew Hall of Rosewood Studios in Tyler, Texas, has a vintage tone and resonating lyrics, offering songs inspired by authentic country musicians. Rosewood Studios and the award-winning engineers there have produced certified gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums for handfuls of notable artists.
After releasing his powerful debut album, Gypsy Man, in 2017, Love instantly resonated with critics and new fans alike. With two singles making waves on the Texas Regional Radio Charts, Mike Love has seen his audience expand.
“I am so excited for my fans to finally hear Lost Highway,” said Love. “This album has some heavy hitters on instruments, awesome producers behind it, and songs that I’m truly passionate about.”
Lost Highway features Nate Coon (Aaron Watson) on drums and percussion, John Carroll (Corey Morrow) on electric guitar, Milo Deering (Eagles) on strings, David DeShazo on bass guitar, Sean Giddings on pianos and Drew Hall on background vocals.
Including songs titled “Miss You Baby” and “Still Holding On,” as well as the title track, “Lost Highway,” the album tells the journey of a traveling musician pining for his love. All songs were written by Love himself.
Lost Highway is now available for purchase and on streaming services.
